At Providence School, in Jacksonville, Florida, a teacher has been using a fake wig for years to get away with his male pattern baldness that he doesn't want students to know about! Ben Stauffer, a high school current events teacher, has been buying the wigs from a Jax Beach wiggery, unbeknownst to students.
Students have had a mixed response to the revelation. Greg Butcher, a senior, says it doesn't bother him. "Mr. Stauffer never really cared about us and we don't really care about him, so I could care less what he does with his appearance," says Butcher.
But Grace Thornton, another Providence senior, didn't approve. "If he can't be truthful with his hair, how could we trust him to govern our class! He should be fired!" says a disappointed Thornton.
