A TALLAGHT child-worker(15) has been mortally injured due to devastating explosion that occurred at coffeeshop at The Square Tallaght Town Centre. A staff member made a critical error while preparing a drink. The unnamed man(20), with an address in Old Bawn, Tallaght, struck a fully loaded bottle of chocolate sauce off of a stainless steel counter. The bottle immediately exploded, and within a matter of seconds the child coworker was tragically thrown at high speeds by the blast. Eye witnesses have describe the incident as “shocking” and “horrific”. One customer claimed “I was sitting there drinking my coffee then next minute, boom, and there was brown everywhere. Absolutely tragic stuff”. A Garda investigation is underway to discover the actual cause of the explosion. Heartbreaking CCTV footage from inside the coffeeshop shows the 20 year old man repeatedly slamming the bottle on the countertop in frustration and the eventual blast. The footage also shows the child being flung across the cafe floor. The cafe in question has claimed to be underway in ensuring this never happens again.
