Mount Airy police shut down Walmart in Mount Airy on Wednesday morning August 4, 2021 while they investigated an armed robbery store — the latest incident at a store in Mount Airy.
Police spokesman Sgt. Wayne Delk told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that officers were called about 9:45a.m. After an initial investigation, Cobb police determined walmart store was robbed by three masked suspects, who fled the scene before officers arrived.
