Once only native to India, the King Cobra is now thriving in Central Kentucky. Cobra mating experimentation was a study that was ongoing by a funded group known as CAVE but they ran out of funding early last Spring. Since then, the tagged reptilians have been closey monitored in the wild and have even survived the harsh weather of last winter. The 50+ offspring have since reached 3 ft in length and are expected to reach around 7 by next Spring. Please be aware if you are out and about.
