In Texas, football is king, but especially in Austin, Texas. Lake Travis High School is profoundly known for it’s producing of top-notch football players including NFL quarterback Garrett Gilbert(Carolina Panthers.) But there is one player in particular who is in the current generation of Lake Travis football and it’s not Garrett Gilbert, but Garrett Wilson. Garrett Wilson has multiple Division 1 scholarships for his talented abilities, but all that may be coming to an end. From an unknown source, Garrett Wilson has reportedly failed 2 drug tests in the past month and reportedly was pulled over and charged with a DUI on October 21, 2017 after leaving the schools homecoming dance. Sources have no further evidence or information. The coaching staff has not made any public statements so far other than ..”we will handle the situation accordingly...”
