Grandad Bluff (also Granddad Bluff) is a cliff on the east side of La Crosse, Wisconsin. It is approximately 590 feet (180 m) above the surrounding land and 1183 feet (361 m) above sea level. Bliss Road provides access to the bluff.
Meteorologist predict never before seen rainfall throughout the midwest causing the Missippi river to overflow its banks from the source all the way to the delta. Many towns will be covered by wanter to depths of 300 feet. In La Crosse, Wisconsin the flooding is expected to be so bad that the only refuge the residents will be able to find is on top of the bluff.
