Enid, Ok. - A 25-year-old woman was killed, and a 65-year-old woman was hurt in a two-vehicle crash on Monday afternoon on South Vanburen in Enid.

According to the Department of Public Safety, the crash happened at 4:06 p.m. The younger woman was driving northbound on Vanburen when her vehicle veered to the left, crossed the median and hit a car going southbound.

The 65-year-old woman had to be extricated. She was wearing a seatbelt and she is facing serious but non-life threatening injures.

The 25-year-old woman was not wearing a seatbelt.

The names of the two people are not being released pending notification of family members. They were the only people involved in the crash.

Oklahoma’s Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
