Hours ago, Nick Lawrence of Bedford County was found guilty in an assault and battery charge brought upon from the past week. Judge Cunningham made his final jurisdiction Tuesday night sentencing the Liberty Middle School teacher to a 7 year prison sentence and a yet to be determined fine.
