The Supreme Court of India, in an unprecedented and fast move, shot down the court order from a one judge panel in the Delhi High Court, which banned T-Series diss tracks. The diss tracks, which include 'Bitch Lasagna' and recently released 'Congratulations', are set to be back on Youtube in India. The nine judge panel ruled 7-2 in favor of Pewdiepie. In the majority ruling, the panel said "it is blatantly obvious that Kjellberg's diss tracks do not constitute defamation, as declared in the Constitution of India". The majority ruling went on further to say "although many of Kjellberg's claims against T-Series are in fact offensive, all are either based in actual fact or are clearly harmless jokes". This unprecedented move by the court made it clear that India is against the censorship of media. The Court also fined T-Series 1,840,000 Rupees ($265,000) in court fees and fines. T-Series has yet to appeal this fine or decision, but many predict that they will. Zew News reached out to T-Series, the Delhi High Court, and The Supreme Court of India for comment, but have yet to receive a response. More updates in the future as more information is revealed.
