Dr. David Appleton of Genesis Psychology Group has been announced as the next member of the Mission to Mars, a part of the team that will track psychological and mental reaction of crew members in space for what is estimated to be about 5 to 8 years round-trip. Much like his hero Don Knott's in the Reluctant Astronaut, Dr. Appleton has been fascinated with deep space travel and man's quest to explore asked for comment about his momentous commitment, Dr. Appleton was quoted as saying "Hey, wait, what, I was told 5 to 8 months, not years. That's ridiculous, I'm gonna go stir crazy up there. Holy moly, what was I thinkin ? And as long as we are out here that long, can we at least check out Uranus ? Hah.
