Minecraft has been shut down and all versions discontinued as of Friday September 20th, 3:00 PM. Fans are mourning their dear childhood memories. It is unclear why the game was shut down. All versions have been shut down, including Legacy console editions, Bedrock editions, Java editions, and Classic Web Minecraft. Microsoft has not yet responded to a request to comment. Merchandise has also been discontinued.
