Local Runcorn school has been filed to close its doors this coming school year, and even the school don't know what they've done wrong.

Early this weekend, news broke out that the school known as 'Sandymoor Free School' had lost its former Microsoft School membership with the banning of school devices and the use of mobile phones during break and lunches.

Not only this, but a change to the GCSE curriculum and a careers focused outlook could be putting students at a disadvantage when the time comes.

Still, this is just some changes the school has most probably made under the influence of the academy it was forced to join by Ofsted in 2018 after its inadequate rating.

More news is to come from Halton Council to state this sudden change, with rumours speculating they could be building a new high-school either in Sandymoor or Windmill Hill.
