In the afternoon of July 11th 2019, the French government has made it illegal for anyone that is currently in French to exit for the next 5 years. This law also makes it illegal for anyone else who isn’t if French residency to enter the country. People who are not originally from France who are here on vacation or any other reason are not allowed to exit the country either. As of now not a lot of information on this subject is available.
