Former Jacksonville quarterback, Blake “Stallion” Bortles, will now be swimming with dolphins. After a blockbuster trade with the Miami Dolphins, Jacksonville is without a quarterback. However, they do acquire the Dolphins 1st round pick, number eleven. They also receive a second round pick and a conditional first round pick next year. The Dolphins had been mulling drafting a quarterback since Tannehill was injured and placed on injured reserve. Tannehills poor performance and inability to stay healthy greatly weighed on the decision. “We are looking for mental toughness, a strong arm, and a great team leader. We wanted Rothlisburger since the draft in 2004. This guy, the Stallion, is a mirror image.”, said team minority owner, Tito Valsquez. The Jaguars will be looking for a quarterback and now have the eleventh pick, just one before the quarterback hungry Buffalo Bills. A press conference will be held,to introduce Bortles, tonight at 7:30pm EST on NFL Network.
