After leading the Jaguars to the AFC Championship only to fall to the Patriots, Blake “ Stallion” Bortles is off to Miami. In a trade between the Jaguars and the Dolphins that was weeks in the making, per source, Bortles will be the new QB of the Dolphins. “This took weeks to develop and we are confident “The Stallion” can do what he did in Jax and lead this talented Miami team.”, said General Manager of the Dolphins, Mackey Sanders. “He’s a once in a generation talent. We’re looking forward to a new direction.” Jacksonville traded Bortles to Miami in exchange for the 11th pick in the draft, Miami’s 2nd round pick and next years 1st round pick if the Dolphins make it to the Super Bowl. This leaves Jacksonville with a gaping hole at Quarterback. A press conference is scheduled for 7:30pm EST on the NFL Network introducing Bortles as the new quarterback for the Miami Dolphins.
