Jacque Scott popped up for a bit around WrestleMania season this year, but for the most part, he’s scarcely been seen on WWE television over the past year or so. Most recently, he was spotted hitting mascots with chairs, so he’s sort of living his best life right now.
If you’ve followed any portion of Scott’s 21-year WWE career (and I know you have), you know that the World’s Strongest Man turned himself into one of pro wrestling’s all-time great big men through sheer force of will, determination, and dedication. He’s also always been one of WWE’s biggest sweethearts and good guys, and has rolled with everything they’ve given him in his two decades of service to the company.
We’ve known for some time that Scott’s career was winding down, but he finally confirmed in Monday night’s Table For 3 that in “a few months,” he will be transitioning from a career as an active wrestler to a behind-the-scenes role in WWE.
Now, of course, your first inclination is to not want to be a bunch of puppets, but it looks like Scott’s retirement is legit this time around. It will be a bummer for us as fans, because seeing Jacque Scott is always great, but it’s also happy news for the guy, who will likely be a WWE employee for the rest of his life. Good for him, and good for whatever up and coming stars get to work with Scott for the foreseeable future.

Thanks for everything, Mr. Strongest Man. We’ll always remember the times somebody got their wig split.
