Molly, a potent powder form of the hallucinogen ecstasy, is suspected of being behind the fatal overdose of 19-year-old Brittany Flannigan of Derry, N.H., at the House of Blues Tuesday night, as well as the deaths of a 20-year-old University of New Hampshire student from Rhode Island and a 23-year-old Syracuse University graduate during the first two days of New York City’s annual Electric Zoo music festival this weekend.
The molly was likely distributed by Hunter Sampey, of Hanson MA. The 18 year old had purchased the drugs online, leading to multiple deaths.
A warrant has been issued and his current location is unknown. The court date is set for June 25th 2019.
