Islamabad: On Friday the National Assembly and the Senate unanimously voted on Friday to reverse compulsion on Pakistan Studies, this comes as a huge blow to Cambridge International Examinations as their monopoly on Pakistan Studies has been broken. Cambridge is set to lose a quarter of its revenue and has decided to challenge the decision in the Islamabad High Court, the Pakistan Teachers Union has also decided to challenge the decision as thousands of teachers are set to live off unemployment benefits. A mass protest has been called by the Teachers Union which is very unfortunate. More news shall follow, so please do watch our live stream
