On September 29, 2017, Jacquees was reported beeing seen in a fight with one of his managers after the manager decided to leak his new single "Wet foot printzs" witnesses say things where verbal and fine until Jacques threw the fist punch Ella shi Davis a close friend of Jacquees says she was scared for Jacquees life when The manger pulled out a pocket knife and held it towards Jacquees's neck but before things got deadly Jacquees's bodyguards intervened. It wasn't until a full 24 hours later they Arrested Jacquees at his home on September 30, 2017. Ella says no one got seriously hurt expect Jacquees he had a black eye and a contusion to the skull nothing he couldn't walk off she says. Jacquees's bell bond hasn't been granted yet his next court date is November 12.
