Due to the alarming amount of fatalities due to distracted driving, it will soon be illegal to ride motorcycles in Washington state. The amount of lives that will be saved are immeasurable. This law will take effect October 1, 2017. Anyone found riding a motorcycle will be fined $1000 and their bike will be permantetly impounded.
