Robert Baxt has been a magician performing at the Magic Castle in Hollywood for over 20 years. Now that the pandemic has caused all his live shows to disappear, he has moved online continuing all the fun and excitement his shows generate by using Zoom. This Culver City resident used his creativity and ingenuity to create a broadcast studio in his garage when the Quarantine began in March and now his shows have been seen online in over 100 countries around the world. Interviewed by phone, he said "People are starved for something different. They're going stir crazy staring at the same four walls and a personalized show of magic tricks, mindreading and mentalism is the perfect antidote for cabin fever and to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions." The funny guy who has multiple awards for his unique comedy magic said his next project is "Socially Distanced" shows for when restrictions are lifted and people can have small groups at their homes again.
