Jean-Pierre Khoury, also known as @tomo_the_designer on Instagram, has hit a spike of popularity online due to his innovative, pixelized artwork.
Jack Ohman, the editorial cartoonist for the Sacramento Bee comments on his work, saying, "With some improvement, his graphical skills could reach very wide audiences. People of all cultures and age ranges could find something they like about his portfolio."
With the young man's interest and study of Japanese culture, he may very likely find an audience across seas.
