On April 15, 2019, approximately around 9:30 PM, Teen Lee Mauras, was walking home from a friend's house. He was approached by two African-Americans. He recognized one of the assailants, Carl Johnson, as he held him at knifepoint
He was beaten mercilessly and wounded to the point where he was barely walking. Soon after was robbed. Twenty minutes after the incident, he was found by a local couple, Jane and Christian Rodriguez. He was later treated at Mercy Medical Hospital in Rockville Center. Whereabouts on these are currently unknown, however, descriptions and one of the attackers' name are as listed below:
