On April 16th, 2019, a Florida man was driving down highway 17 in Davenport, when a rabid Chimpanzee "Came out of nowhere" the man said, and jumped into his car, trying to grab his face. The man grabbed his 500 Magnum from under his seat and shot the Chimp in the face. "I don't know where or how this Monkey came about, but he had no chance against lead", the man stated. Officials are deciding whether the man should receive a fine at the moment, and investigators are looking into how the Chimpanzee ended up on the highway in the first place.
