Today officers with the Pike and Lincoln County drug task force will begin a door to door sweep with the assistance of trained canine that can detect the use and presence of illegal drugs. This has been a plan in the making for sometime now but the public has not been made aware. Streets in the city limits of Bowling Green will be the first to have this full impact put upon them. Those found in possession of illegal drugs and or parephenalia will be placed in a Patty wagon that will be centrally located on the City Square until it's capacity is at limits and then transported to a make shift fa ilty that has yet been made aware as of press time. Rumor has it that the teams will be hitting the streets around noon on Friday. This is being sponsored by the local coucil against drug abuse.
