Sharmeen Wisdom-Allah Simmons, 32, of Decatur, was driving a stolen 2011 Nissan-Maxima on panola Road , according to Dekalb County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Deputies pulled him over around Panola Road and said he was traveling more than 100 mph, the release said.
Simmons faces charges of felony theft, speeding, reckless driving,obstruction of an officer and possession of a stolen firarm, according to DeKalb county Jail records. He is also charged with no proof of insurance and removing a license plate. Simmons is being held on a $20,560 bond, according to jail records.
