Boy Dies after being attacked by Shark in Hawaii

17 year old Jonathan Panion from Hoover, Alabama, was surfing in Hawaii waters this afternoon when it is believed he was attacked by a Great White Shark. Bystanders on the beach described the attack as “horrifying” and “utterly terrifying”, saying Jonathan, or as his friends called him, Jon, was attacked from behind and the shark left no remains behind. Jon was a member of the band at Hoover High School in which he played the saxophone. A funeral service is expected to be held in the near future back in Alabama.
