The Blue Ridge is full of natural wonder: beautiful trees, streams, rivers.....and monsters? That's the claim of a few local residents, brothers Jed, Jud and Jude. *Names have been changed to protect the innocent.* "I was wandering down the mountain one day looking for jackalopes, when I spotted this hairy ape-like thing wading in the creek," Jed claims looking suspiciously calm. Jud and Jude nodded in agreement. Why was the creature in the creek? Jed seems to think it was after something more than just a tasty fish. "I don't trust the banks, so I hide all my money in a water proof safe under a rock right next to where that thing was standing. All fifty thousand dollars of it. Well, if it's gone at any point, we'll know it was him." Will the creature return? It seems very probably. Unfortunately I am unlikely to ever find out for sure as I have just resigned from my job working for the Daily Faux. I have unexpectedly received a financial windfall and will never have to interview another hillbilly again. I wish all my readers well. Wish me luck on my travels to Aruba, Jamaica, Bermuda, Bahama, Key Largo, Montego, and some place called Kokomo.
