Joel Murray was a Human Resources Manager for a very prominent LGBTQ Health services organization (Howard Brown), that is, until he was fired for racially motivated discrimination. Mr. Murray had received several complaints from the EEOC regarding offering African-Americans and Latinos pay rates lower than their white counterparts. On last week Howard Brown was slapped with a lawsuit brought by a former employee who had initially complained about this but was ignored. We attempted to contact Mr. Murray for comment, but our calls went unanswered. We will continue to follow this story and bring you more information as it becomes available.
