The President of the United States has just now resigned from office. He says he wants to further his career with his businesses, and cannot do that while he is working in office. People on the social media platform Twitter are saying there is other reasons.
The media is absolutely shocked at this resignation. Trump says to CNN: "I just need more time to work with other things."
We are not sure of the dates yet, but if Mr. Trump officially resigns from office, Mike Pence will take place in the office as President of the United States.
