Legislators have assembled, and after hours and days of long diliberaration, it has become apparent that the drug marijuana is not as harmless as once thought to be.Statistics have proven that the drug has killed no-one.The marijuana grown,sold,and taxed by the state could bring in much needed revenue.While neighboring states like Washington DC has decriminalized marijuana, Virginia remains to arrest many people taking up valuable space in jails and prisons where real violent and career criminals should be.This means American tax dollars are being wasted recklessly and people are being treated inhumanely.Many Virginians are advocating that the strict marijuana laws be done away with, repealed,or loosened.Legislators are in the process of making drastic changes."We need to know how to regulate the trade,sale,and barter of marijuana in our collective state".We watched and learned as other states experimented with this project successfully.We are prepared to take a leap of faith, says the Governor.By 2018 it will be legal.So if you like the wacky weed then this is surely good news for you.
