According to the CDC and WHO farting in the workplace does not only cause disturbances but can also lead to pink eye and other assorted breathing ailments. According to Dr. Wendy Cheeks of the World Health Organization, states that fecal particles escaping the rectal cavity and enters into the air we breath and even cause other infections such as ear nose and throat infections. There is also instances where fecal matter can enter the eyes and cause conjuntivitis! Legislation is pending to curtail instances of workplace flatulence and multiple warning can lead to dismissal and even legal action.
