***BREAKING NEWS FROM WORLDWIDE WEATHER SERVICE***

The GFS model runs from this morning until 9:45 PM eastern have shifted the track of Hurricane Irma significantly eastward -- significantly reducing the possibility of a direct hit on the U.S.

The Worldwide Hurricane Information Center has adjusted it’s official forecast track a little to the east, but their storm discussion drops an important hint:

“It highly likely that Irma will remain far from the U.S. east coast."

For much of the day, officials warned that all of South and Central Florida would suffer the worst damage.

But the latest models show a significant shift East.
