Mexico City HY1 traffic falls
By Doug Newhouse, 31 July 2010
Aeropuertos y Servicios Auxiliares (ASA) reports that Mexico City International Airport experienced a -0.6% fall in domestic and international traffic to 11.78m in the first half of this year, following a tough first quarter compared with the same period a year ago.
Passenger traffic suffered badly in the first quarter, but ASA pointed to a recovery in May and June, although these numbers are being compared with a period last year where there was a big drop in passengers following H1N1 influenza scares.
