Manchester traffic still in decline

The difficult traffic scenario facing Manchester Airport in the UK is continuing with scheduled international passengers down by -3% in May to 873,350 and charter traffic down -11% to 525,027. Domestic traffic also fell by -22.51% to 172,340, while the grand total at Manchester stood at 1,590,747 (including private aircraft traffic).

The year-to-date numbers do not look much better, with scheduled international traffic down -13.08% to 1,528,055, charter traffic down -18.06% to 789,194 and domestic traffic declining by -26.66% to 328,041.
