NewTree updates its range
By Doug Newhouse, 10 March 2010

Premium Belgian chocolate manufacturer NewTree says it has recently made a number of 'significant changes' to its range, with the introduction of new packaging for its core 80gr range, alongside the launch of several new products and three 'innovative new flavours'.

Christophe Bala˙, Travel Retail Operations, NewTree says the company has a new packaging style for its core bar range featuring NewTree's green leaf-style corporate logo and a high quality photo of the fruit or plant extract. At the same time, new products include the introduction of a new 50gr bar range offering eight different flavour options: Cherry, Mint, Ginger, Pink pepper, Lavender, Orange, Cinnamon and Apricot.

The company is also introducing a 72-piece box featuring an assortment of 5gr bars across four flavours and this product has already been recently introduced at Belgian Sky Shops, Brussels Zaventem Airport.

It is also introducing three new flavours in the core 80gr bar range, which include dark chocolate with Belgian biscuit; milk chocolate with roasted almonds and golden flax seeds; and milk chocolate with strong cocoa content and bourbon vanilla.

The company says these products also offer three specific properties, since they are Omega-3 enriched, fibre-enriched - '3 times more than any chocolate' and contain 30% less sugar.
