Lancôme and Nuance pamper passengers

Coinciding with its 75th anniversary, Lancôme Travel Retail Asia Pacific has introduced two customised pampering experiences in partnership with Nuance-Watson (HK) for passengers at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).

Two special events, 'For Your Eyes Only' and 'Future is Yours' have been created to distance passengers from standard beauty product browsing by offering passengers personalized make-up and skincare events at the airport.

Between the period January 11 to January 31 the partners have been offering various treatments at Lancôme's Make-Up Studio in the Temptations Duty Free Store in HKIA, utilising the skills of Lancôme's make-up artists to create 'more beautiful eyes than ever'. These artists applied Lancôme's new Génifique Eye Cream to passengers, before offering them a choice of 'flawless eye touch-up' from Lancôme's four exclusive Asian looks: Sexy Cat Eyes, Cute Single Eyelid, Big Big Eyes and Bye Bye Droopy Eyes.

This execution is being followed this month (February 1 to 21) by an education programme which aims to address the concerns of many Asian women, by teaching them how to take proper care of their delicate skin, especially on the eye area which is more prone to puffiness, sagging and thinning.

The company says that this will provide the opportunity for passengers to experience Lancôme's most innovative anti-ageing skincare - Génifique Youth Activator - which it describes as 'the anti-ageing miracle that controls the genes that promote skin's youthfulness with visible results in just seven days'.

The company said: "Travellers will witness the scientific breakthrough of new Génifique skincare and will receive a treatment never before experienced in a travel retail counter using beauty techniques that customers can replicate at home. This new partnership between Lancôme and Nuance-Watson at HKIA aims to be a stepping-stone to establish a closer relationship and a new level of service in travel retail between prestigious brands like Lancôme and travellers."
