By Doug Newhouse, 13 July 2009 Nuance-Watson (Hong Kong) and Longchamp have jointly unveiled a new 60sq m stand-alone boutique in the new expanded retail space at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) Terminal 1's East Hall. The two-sided frontage is located in the East Hall retail zone facing the major passenger path to the Central Concourse and West Hall. The new store was officially opened by Alessandra Piovesana, Nuance-Watson (HK) Regional Managing Director, North Asia; Stephane Beraud, Longchamp International Director; Mollie Roger, Longchamp Area Manager, Asia Pacific; Eva Tsang, Airport Authority HK General Manager, Retail & Advertising Business, Marketing & Business Development; and Clarice Au, Nuance-Watson (HK) General Manager, Operations. Debuting with the grand opening event was a sneak preview of the brand's new wave of chic 'IT' bags demonstrated by top China model Pei Bei. Other prominent guests at the opening included 2008 Miss World China Tiaz Jiang and several local celebrity models. Commenting, Alessandra Piovesana, Nuance-Watson (HK) Regional Managing Director, North Asia said: "We take pride in launching Longchamp in this new expanded location. We began our partnership with the brand since 2000 and established the standalone boutique in 2003. It is one of the many brands we have brought in and grown in our general merchandise stores and later successfully moved ahead in standalone statements through tender. "We are committed to continue to satisfy our customers in close partnership with our brands and the Airport Authority, while ascertaining the best exposure and return for the brands at our airport." Nuance-Watson said that over the years, Longchamp has long been a favourite among travellers as it proudly combines quality, elegance and convenience, a balance of luxury and practicality. The new boutique offers a comprehensive assortment from travel bags, luggage to handbags, wallets and accessories. In addition, Longchamp has also undergone a total image makeover within Nuance-Watson (HK)'s The Atrium and The Plaza department stores. News related to "Nuance-Watson (Hong Kong);Longchamp"
