Collin joins Onboard Retail

One of the leading suppliers of onboard airline point-of-sale technology Onboard Retail Solutions has announced the appointment of Deborah Collin as Head of Delivery, recruiting her from National Express East Coast where she managed the implementation of onboard retail systems on 46 trains.
Onboard Retail says that Collin will be based at Onboard's head office in Bristol and brings with her over 20 years of travel industry experience having specialised in Business and IT Management for Tour Operations, Airline and Rail. Prior to her work with National East Coast she also spent eight years at First Choice, with two as Head of IT for its First Choice Airways division, during which time she implemented OnBoard POS on aircraft. She is also an experienced project manager and has managed many large hardware and software projects over multiple sites.
Commenting on her appointment, she said: "I am delighted to be joining the team and, as a previous customer, am confident of bringing valuable insight from 'the other side the fence'. This is an exciting time for the industry, where the focus is clearly and firmly on increasing onboard revenue - an objective that Onboard Retail Solutions is ideally placed to help its customers achieve."
In her new role, Deborah’s responsibilities will include managing the delivery team to ensure that projects are delivered to customers on time and to ensure that implementations achieve the required business benefits.

She brings a fantastic wealth of experience to the business in both rail and air and is already proving a highly valuable member of the team.
