New ranges for Paton's at TFWA
By Doug Newhouse, 24 April 2009
Paton’s is to unveil its new range of luxury praline chocolates at next month's TFWA Asia Pacific show in a new gift presentation known as the Paton’s Assorted Pralines Tower, which contains foil-wrapped premium macadamia, hazelnut and almond pralines in a tapered gift pack (145g).
The company says that this design is primarily intended for the Australian souvenir market. Other items in the range include Macadamia Pralines and Assorted Pralines in red or blue gift boxes (225g and 130g) and 245g twist top packs which it believes will stand out on shelves in Australian travel retail outlets.
Paton’s will present the new range on Stand C13 alongside its 'hugely successful' Paton’s Royals in Milk, Dark and White chocolate - examples from the extensive collection of milk chocolate macadamia Souvenir Boxes showing photos of national landmarks, and various sweet or savoury bars, bags and gift packs.
James Kfouri, General Manager Sales & Marketing, Paton’s said: "The travelling consumer demands innovation in the travel retail offer - something to present to his host or take home which he would not find in his local store. Last year we brought them new nut varieties of our irresistible Royals collection. This year we have an entirely new departure for Paton’s - sumptuous pralines made in our own production facility in Australia with the finest almonds, hazelnuts and macadamias and presented in a refreshingly different way.”
