A local teenager was attacked by a brown shark on the night of December, 7 2017. The shark attacks victims name was Blake Lisgar. His words were, “I was surfing off 8th Street and felt a hard hit against my leg. I started paddling in because I was scared and realized there was a chunk missing out of my leg.” Luckily the attack was not fatal and he will be returning home soon.
