Now that Carey Price is 100 and can see the puck, the canadiens feel that there 1 first line centre away to be a stanley cup contender. The canadiens are offering 23 year old Alex Galchenyuk 2nd round pick and prospect Simon Bourque for Tavares that's a reasonable because Tavares's contract ends this year. Canadiens GM Marc Bergevin will maybe lose his job if the canadiens don't make a deep run in to the playoffs. Tavares will be in the first line with Andrew Shaw and Max Pacioretty.
