Montclair, N.J. -- A Hospital worker accused of attacking her supervisor with a baseball bat this morning is wanted for Questioning.

Kesha Chisolm, 45, of East Orange,is want for Questioning by the Montclair police department for an assault that accrued at the Hackensack Memorial Hospital on Bay ave in Montclair NJ.

This defendant allegedly led a brutal and unprovoked attack, viciously beating the victim with a bat and holding a knife to her neck," said District Attorney Michael E. McMahon. "My prosecutors and I will work tirelessly to ensure that justice is served for the victim of this heinous crime."

In a statement, Arleen Ryback, a Hospital spokeswoman, said the episode shows that hospitals, colleges, schools, government agencies and corporations "face security challenges in protecting their employees and students from harm, both external and internal."

"We want to underscore New Jersey Hospital's unwavering commitment to our employees' safety and security while at work," she said. "Workforce safety is the foundation for patient safety and is our ultimate priority. We work to ensure the safest possible work environment and peace of mind for our staff in knowing that there are effective security procedures in place to safeguard them while at work."
