Around 12:30 in the afternoon on October 31, 2017, a student by the name of Michael Pestejo was caught smoking on camp grounds and was arrested on the spot. He is currently facing state charges of possession of illegal narcotics and for misdemeanor. He is currently awaiting trial at Sarasota County Jail.
