Karting News has discovered a US racing duo has been working to get a Chassis approved for competition in the United States on sprint racing and is rumored to also include dirt racing "offset" Chassis as well. The team has included the offset Chassis due to testing and sales required by CIK-FIA for each Chassis. We've learned that a firm located in the Southeast has agreed to production and the team has a merge plan if the Chassis is approved. The new Chassis are developed using a special DOM steel common in Europe but not the US. Neither Rink for Russell would comment on the pending approvals during the "quiet time" as the CIK-FIA considers a US entry into Europe sprint racing and oval asphalt and dirt racing.
