On september 21, 2017 LCRA, and core of engineers voted to build lampasas Lake.
The lake will be approximately 40 square miles. 10 miles bigger than the lake as most people know "possum kingdom"
The lake will have 12 public boat ramp, 4 jet ski rams, and plenty of parking.
Do not worry about the fishing. The Texas parks and wildlife plan on stocking the lake with multiple types of fish. There will be events held at this lake such as kid fishing, tournaments, wake boarding tournaments, and much more!
Ground breaking will be held October 13, 2017. With the help of different county agencies we are hoping for a 5 year plan to be finished.
