St. John's (CP) Tens of thousands of Newfies fell for the "Oldest trick on the internet" yesterday, as a widely circulated hoax made its rounds on Facebook.
Mt. Scio farms, as well as thousands of Newfies fell victim of a cruel hoax on the popular social media website.
We asked several people at Piper's on Topsail Road during the Dollar days sale while fighting over what they thought were the last few packs of that special spice.

"My Gawd... Who wudda t'aught Donald F**king Trump was right about dis fake news s**t?!!!" Exclaimed Marge Parsons, when asked about her thoughts on the subject.
Billy Yetman weighed in, "Wha? Go on wit ya b'ye! Yer CRACKED me son!" When asked of his musings on the subject.
Wanda Skinner from Bay Roberts said:
"Dat's not right! Next t'ing ya know there will be fake news outlawing Bingo at da Bella Vista!"
Wilf O'Brien from Buckmaster Circle added, "At least they didn't fake news a beer strike! Tanks be to Jeziz"
Junior Walsh from "Da Brow" yelled
”What da frig is Facebook?”

Newfoundlanders criticized Premier Dwight Ball for wanting to tax the popular spice as well as everyone's opinion on the subject.
When contacted, the Premier's office officially had no comment.
