Robert Baxt is a Culver City resident whose full time job is entertaining with his comedy magic tricks. One of the famous Magic Castle in Hollywood's favorite performers, he has 275 Five Star reviews online for his shows.
Having performed for over 20 years with appearances on TV around the world, he is fluent in Japanese, Spanish and can get by in some Korean, Armenian and half a dozen other languages.
Robert says "I didn't plan on learning so many languages, but magic is an international language and every time I was flown somewhere around the world to do a show, I made sure to pick up a few words to make every audience happy and enthusiastic with my tricks.
With the Halloween and Christmas seasons coming up, Robert explained that those are the busiest times of the year for his schedule and that it's like getting an airline seat: first come, first served. He never cancels once he's booked and his reputation for doing an outstanding job is what has kept him working steadily for many years.
Now making his home in Culver City with his wife and young son, he says he has stopped the word traveling that has made him go through seven passports and focuses on shows in the Los Angeles area.
