Due in court next week. Crown Attorney Joseph Gladstone, LLB. will be answering criminal charges of embezzlement and insider trading, which he accidentally filed against himself.

Apparently while working late one night Attny Joseph Gladstone made a clerical error naming himself as the defendant and called for a warrant for his own arrest; which a circuit judge quickly granted.

"Obviously, my defense attorney and I will be entering a plea of not guilty..." Gladstone said from his holding cell; "I don't think I have much evidence against myself to support these charges."

Due to bureaucratic constraints and issues of conflict of interest, Gladstone is not able to simply withdraw the charges.

Yasir Naqvi issued a statement from the Attorney General's office indicating that trial dates will be set rapidly and hearings conducted efficiently; "We should have this matter cleared up, and get Mr. Gladstone back to work within a year.. two years tops!"

In all, the misfiled paperwork and ensuing trial is only expected to cost taxpayers $200k.
