Heathrow looks set for another record year
Total retail income at BAA's Heathrow and Stansted airports in the six months ending June 30, 2010 rose by 4.2% to £216.1m ($337.2m), with Heathrow contributing £178.3m ($278.2m) and Stansted £37.8m ($58.9m). Heathrow's duty and tax free income stood at £43.4m ($67.7m), bolstered by another £33.5m ($52.2m) from airside specialist shops, while Stansted contributed duty and tax free sales income of £5.6m and £3m ($5.6m and $4.6m) from airside specialist shops.
